SHANGHAI, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) -- The fourth Global Conference on Aquaculture was held in Shanghai from Sept. 22 to 25. It is a global high-level conference sponsored by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. The conference is held every 10 years.
China is a major country in fishery and aquaculture in the world. The conference introduced the development achievements and experience of China's aquaculture industry to the world.
